BFO is hosting a meeting in McAllen, Texas at the Public Library, Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 01:00 PM - 4:00 PM with room for 240 seats.

Please contact the following family members to reserve a seat: We are inviting all heirs of Spanish and Mexican land grants to attend and discuss issues with House Bill 724. We will also have on hand the books written by Joel Rene Escobar the author and editor of 7 books. He was born on July 31, 1936 and died on February 15, 2011. His books were always researched and information was always checked for accuracy. It was important to him that his books were documented using true facts before being printed. His books are well written and almost all are hard bound. Below is a list of his books; The Family Tree/The Seabury Papers written by Francis William Seabury and transcribed by Joel Rene Escobar.
