This is a private meeting, which means that only Ballí family members and invited guest can attend. This valuable knowledge-sharing session is very important. Below are some points of interest:

Rene Escobar, Author of, "The Ballí Family - Reynosa and Matamoros" will present a Power Point presentation of our book. Mr. Escobar researched the Ballí family in meticulous detail and published a book on his findings. He is an accomplished author, having written five books tracing different family lineages. He attained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the North Texas State University, now The University of North Texas in Denton and is a former Fulbright Scholar. He studied Spanish History at the University of Valladolid in Burgos, Spain. The Ballí book can be purchased at the meeting.

Dee Dee King, Certified Genealogist, has processed several hundred documents for many family members and she will continue to search for connections. Once the evidence documenting the family connections has been entered we will be able to quickly generate a list of the people whom we can prove connect. This is the main purpose of building the Ballí Family Documented Data Base. At the meeting she will explain the importance of this process. Visit her web site for more information at:

http://www.forensicgenealogyservices.com/Balli.html

David Ballí will unveil and give a brief history of the Coat of Arms that the book and web site will adopt as the official Ballí emblem. We have gone to great lengths of time and research to make this happen. The Coat of Arms is a gift for the family. It will be the center piece of the web site and you will be able to print a color copy for your own records. David will also answer any questions or concerns about the web site.

Fred Ballí will hold discussions on the attorney search and on current attorneys involved in all Ballí land grant issues. In the United States the most fundamental element of a fair process is the right to a trial. Without it, a person has no way to tell their side of a true story and win. The Texas Courts did not let us tell our story. My Dad gave me some words of wisdom sometime ago, he told me that there are two sides to a story and that I must listen to both sides before making final judgment. He added that it was the right thing to do. The Texas Courts have totally ignored all these facts. We must stand up for our rights! Our time is running out and we must do something on or before September 2, 2009! With a can-do attitude and with some new revelations we can still make this happen. Come join us and follow our next plan of action.

DAY-TWO
