RE: BFO Management and Ambassador Meeting

On June 30, 2007, the BFO Management and Ambassador teams met to discuss current concerns and the path forward of the Organization as a whole. Most of the Ambassadors are finished working on recruiting primary heirs from their own branch. If you are a primary heir and have not been contacted by an Ambassador, please notify Diana Balli at (956)-686-4666, Mary Mendiola at (956)-686-2840 or Richard Balli at (956)-240-1999. They will place you with the right group after your initial interview.

An exciting guest of our meeting was Rene Escobar. He is writing a Balli Family book and we are helping him with some of the research. Rene received his early education in the Donna Independent School District and graduated from Donna High school and ranked third highest in his class. He went to North Texas State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education, with double majors in Music and Spanish. Some of the books he has written are The Family Tree Book of F.W. Seabury; The Family History of Jose Maria Escobar; Captain Miguel Sanchez Saenz & His Descendants; Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar - El Cid; Captain Bartolome de Gonzalez & His Descendants and Bartolome de Trevino & His Descendants.

Rene is asking the family to search for old photographs, marriage certificates; letters or any item you might think would be of interest, to put in the book. If you have any items of interest to place in the book, notify Diana, Mary or Richard. Don’t wait for the last minute to call them because the plans are to have the book published by the end of the year. Deadline for book entries is October 06, 2007.

Interviews with new attorneys are progressing. Please check with your Ambassador for updates. We are passing on to the Ambassadors the most up to date information on the attorney search. It is the responsibility of the primary heir to call their Ambassador and get updates on this subject.

A family meeting has been tentatively set for October 6, 2007. We will post more information and details as soon as they become available.

I would like to thank Dora Gonzalez for providing her home and preparing the meal for the meeting. The food was great and it was shared with the best of company.

Respectfully yours,
Fred B. Ballí
