WE'RE GOING TO DALLAS
NOTICE: To all the heirs of Jose Manuel Ballí Villarreal
RE: Cause No. 1261; The John G. and Marie Stella Memorial Foundation v. Sylvia Menchaca Ballí Aguilera, In the 105th District Court of Kenedy County, Texas.


On May 13, 2002 Judge McDowell signed an order changing the venue of this case from Kenedy County to Dallas County. Praise the Lord! This was a major victory for our family because we had no chance of getting a fair trial in Kenedy County.

A copy of the formal Order is posted on the BFH website. The new scheduling order with the February 24, 2003 trial date has also been posted. These Orders and other documents in the case can be seen by clicking the Notices of Motions button on the website.

We would like to thank Hector Cardenas for taking the lead in fixing the venue problem. Our preparation really showed and all the attorneys did an excellent job. Thanks to their unity and hard work, the venue saga has finally been brought to an end.
