Texas House Bill 724 (6th) Meeting Update
The Texas House Bill 724 meeting held in Austin on 10/24/14 was well attended accommodating everyone. The hearing was not broadcast live due to the location change from the Capitol extension to the Robert E. Johnson Conference Center. Use the information below to obtain an audio recording of the Mineral Commission meeting on HB-724.
All House committee clerks are responsible for recording audio of every public hearing. You may listen to these recordings in CD or cassette format in the House Communications, Video/Audio Services office, located in the John H. The next (7th) Mineral Commission meeting on HB-724 is scheduled for November 21, 2014. We will post details on that meeting as soon they become available. The postings on the BFO website are posted if they provide useable information for land grant heirs. YOU decide to ACT.

On the Starr county investigation they said thousands and not the millions that we were expecting were found even though they only checked two court cases. That's only two, what about the rest of the land grants? Where there is smoke there’s fire and I believe all documents should be audited.
Texas law is all they recognize. Our lands were and are private property. Minerals come with it simple as that and this is not a false accusation. The proof is clear! Texas has an obligation to honor the 1846 treaty between the U.S. and Mexico.
